Lakeside Rodeo Arena tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot where history and excitement collide? Lakeside Rodeo Arena in Lakeside, California, is one of those places that just oozes character. It’s not just a regular rodeo venue, it’s where big things have happened, like in 2019 when they hosted the first ever cowboy event that included a software development challenge for students. Yeah, you read that right, cowboys and coding in the same arena. Back in 1977, they even held a special rodeo clinic for young hopefuls trying to break into the rodeo scene, so you know it’s got some deep roots. The arena’s box seats are super versatile, perfect for any special event you can think of, and if you go for the premium seats, you get a keepsake to remember the day. Oh, and every year, the local high school marching band rehearses just outside, adding a little extra charm and noise to the scene. And I gotta mention those cowboy hat-shaped trash cans, honestly, it’s such a quirky little touch that makes the place memorable. Whether you’re catching a rodeo, a concert, or just soaking in the lively atmosphere, Lakeside Rodeo Arena is a true community hub that’s seen it all. Trust me, once you’re there, you’ll want to come back, it’s one of those spots where stories are made.
